Help needed!!!

I'm just about to rebuild the transom in my ring 20 but Im having problem with getting hold of a product to stick the ply layers in with. I've looked at 1186pa and 1196pa but there nearly 200quid of 25kg and I only need about 15kg. I've seen a product called free fix but I've never used it and Im not sure how good it is. Any suggestion welcome.

Thanks james V

Good luck with this one mate.
Maybe 'Cookee' can help on this one (there may be other helpers available).

15kg to stick a transom in a 20 seems a bit excessive! I'd have thought 5kg would be about right.

You can buy it in smaller quantities here.... http://www.ecfibreglasssupplies.co.u...-catalyst.aspx

They also sell freefix, which I've also used, it's just not such a pretty colour.

We used 1186pa fitting the transom in the Tremlett and on a few other things, it sticks like sh!t to a blanket.
We got a bit on an old trailer tyre and couldn't get it off.

Why not use some layers of roving mat combined with resin to stuk it in ?
Much cheaper and works for me every time .
Make sure you treath the marine grade ply with injection resin and put it to getter when the injection resin stil is sticky .
