My 2 cents
I think your original scheme is nice but with a little custom stripes it would be awsome
Make it you own like your signature
"bees"
from orignal bottom stripe
colour light grey going to black by the top thin stripe below the rub strip. Thick band below rub stripe a really good dark yellow. Deck at rub strip same dark yellow custom fading towards a beautiful dark orange top deck. Motivation name done in yellow&orange custom graphics with black shadow

I quite liked the original motivation scheme - so IMVHO, I would keep it similar, but just update it a bit.

Keep the colour scheme and go for a more modern font and change that stripes on the sides.

custard yellow
sunburnt orange
brown
