History of my Triana Tropica?
I am currently restoring a Triana Tropica and am trying to find some history on her. Originally she was named "Sharlo", then later became "Shady Lady", but had no name on her when I purchased her. It is thought she is about 1972 vintage.
The earliest pics I have of her show her with a wheelhouse attached, but do not know where she was kept. The previous owner said she had been used as a coastguard vessel at some point but that is unverified.
She has now been renamed yet again to Jaykay. If anyone can shed any light on her past i would love to hear back.
Thanks

I will upload some pics, it is pushing the boundary of my capability though! She is GRP throughout.
I am in touch with Paul (Scarron) but no one has an history of this particular vessel.
Thanks for your replies
Steve

She will be in St Just in Roseland, we keep a ski boat there at present, but are hoping to be on the water in July if all goes according to plan - outdrives being re-furbed at present so by the time we get sorted june will have gone. She should be on a mooring there for a week or so, then up to Chris Jones at Gweek to be coppercoated, then back for another couple of weeks at St Just - are you in Falmouth area as well?

Lovely boat you have there. I am further up at Restronguet Creek but not in the water yet, hoping to go in around the 24th.

Jaykay when she was 'Shady Lady'
Hi Steve, sounds and looks like you are making great progress, much better without the very questionable wheelhouse..
Have a chat with the previous owner; I think he had been in contact with the chap who first had the hull and and fitted it out.
Paul.

Hmm, been trying him but as he still owes me money he is being elusive! Guess I am on my own there!
Cheers Steve
