I'm might have a go at making my own. How hard can it be

I can get Seacon wet mateable connectors. Its easy to get a IP65 stuff, water proof enclosure, a couple of potentiometers and a switch. Oh yeah and the electronicy bit in the middle but I'll let my mate at work sort that bit out in his lunch hour.

Maybe IP67 then . It will be up under the dash board though and if that lots gets dunked I wont be worrying about my cheapy home made intercom!!!

I think alot of the expense is in the waterproof mic and ear piece.
