Intro and Miss Embassy/Planatec history wanted for book.

Hi there, Im new to this forum but have been around powerboating for all my life , thanks to my late Father Bryan Wilkinson, Who was the turbine engineer/crew on Miss Embassy. I am in the process of writing a book on the good lady herself and all the other Planatec boats that were around at the time, aswell as the whole powerboating scene from late sixtys to mid seventys.I am trying to contact Don Shead to get any info/specs on Embassy and the other boats, also would like to contact Tommy Sopwith but keep coming up with dead ends. I Have a large libary of press photos from the period of Embassy boats (miss and UNO) and alot of info from family, I have been collecting for nearly 40 years now. If you have any Infomation on any of these topics that you will be able to help me with (specs, results from races, storys/anecdotes etc) I will of course give credit to any info used in the book.
I have been reading your posts on here and I know that you are all very passionate about your sport and dont tolerate mistruths and rumours, so it is my aim to be as accurate as I can be with this book. Cheers Wodster.
