It had to happen!

It was somewhat inevitable that the day would come I’d have to ask a sensible question.

The time has finally come for me to insure the phantom (now that doesn’t mean its ready yet!!!), I’ve always used Carters and have (I think) 5 years no claims with them.

However judging by the price of the renewal that’s just come through for the Fletcher, I reckon the phantom’s gonna be astronomical!!

I know all this has been discussed before, but I would be really interested to know where all you mentalists (that’s you burty, roofer, taz, yorkie, cye etc) get yours insured?

Thanks in advance

Oh, should add with the sharpe I was a member of a BWSA affiliated club which helped the insurance cost.

It does depend greatly on the 'design max speed' and if any changes to 'standard' have been made.

For the same insurance value I have been quoted 4 times the quote for the faster boat.
