I was just about to go to bed when I saw the start of that, ended up watching the whole thing!!

So was it actually closely based on a real guy and a true story? Interesting program and great to see powerboats on the telly

Don't know when if ever it will reach the screens here so I read the synopsis on Wikipedia. What a fascinating and harrowing story.

Thanks for that. Unfortunately it "Can not be viewed outside of the UK." Guess I'll have to wait and see if it ever turns up here.

If you do a Google search of "U be dead", it will lead to all the media reports about the actual case when it happened a couple of years ago.

A command of Russian would be useful - although you get to see the boats!

Ben, Go here http://www.daveproxy.co.uk/ and then copy and paste the link I gave you before in.

Voila they think you are British and therefore capable of racing a boat in more than a 1 foot swell

Thanks again, will do. And don't try to scare me. Everyone knows there's no such thing as a swell over 1 foot.
