This came to light through recanting the story of seeing him peering out from under the console cover of Jamie's SR9 whilst en route from Plymouth to Milford Haven by road.

Please everone, give what you can to this very worthwhile cause that is so close to John's heart. What he has undertaken is worthy of a few pounds however you look at it in my book!!

Well done John.

Moose.
I bet he was in a sleeping bag too. With a tatty dry suit half undone

I'm amazed he made it in the Thundercat, personally I can not see how he will ever cover his costs, but his love of his dad and boats makes it all viable. Still a long way off target. Having overheard conversations, the next journey could be a gooden.

John wants to raise £4,000 for his charities.

So to all you tight gits: I will set a challenge to all at boat mad that have not donated.
What ever you donate between now and the piss up at drivers next week I will double. So hopefully John reaches the £2000 total of the first charity.
£1,105 short at the moment. ( it could cost me £550.25 if my maths right)

This offer excludes Dean and Marcus.
They might want to: Set a challenge with the second charity

Thundercats are go....

John arriving at Calshot on Sunday, and running up Southampton water to Drivers.

Excuse the jerky footage

It's a very small bote!! Fkk doing over a 1000 miles in that. Fantastic achievement.
