John Lindsay JR ZAPCAT crazy
http://www.facebook.com/groups/onelifetennations/
Jonny's finally gone mad and is undertaking a epic journey to raise money for a very good cause. Anyone who knows his dad, will know why!
Please give generously. I have seen very little publicity.

And just like the publicity. John has no support. No big boat chasing him. Therefore if anyone has any media connections, with magazines, local rags, radio. All support would be greatly appreciated. He is a long way off target money to be raised.
Thanks in advance.

Blog from Fiona Pascoe on FB.
"Just had an update today from John........ his bottom is numb his eyes are all swollen but in fine spirit...
He said there was dense fog along the Bristol and English Channels... nearly hit lands end.. just saw it in time!! There were loads of Dolphins jumping in front of his boat along the Bristol Channel cheering him on and around the North of Cornwall...
Today the wind has picked up so he is going to stay another night in Guernsay and tomorrrow afternoon pop over to Herne for a cuppa then meet up with Julia Daynes and Co for a few drinks and stay the night - Sunday morning at 6am he will leave and go to Alderney then Cherbourg and then the last leg to Southampton - he is looking at getting into the Southampton waters around 2 - 3pm SUNDAY and would love as many boats as possible to come and see him in if you are around! will let you know more news as soon as I get it!! he's taken footage and photos so we will post them when he's back!"

I can't decide to congratulate John, Tohatsu or Aquarius. John has just achieved well over 330 miles in one day as he couldn't go in a direct line from Milford haven to Falmouth to guernsey over 12 hours with a hour stop!! Now he's meeting Offshore Foxy!! If anyone knows Foxy it surely will be amusing!! Thanks Steve G for organising johns over night stays on Foxys boat! Lol
Who is up for going to meet him this Sunday... meet at 2pm at Calshot ... he hopes to be in between 2 and 3pm ... more details to follow! more boats the better!
fiona@thundercatracing.co.uk
Oh and P.S. John is in an Aquarius inflatable THUNDERCAT Not a ZC...lol and a big thank you needs to go to Microlink PC who donated it and Tohatsu who assisted John with the engine - truly this shows how good Tohatsu's are... spoke to John today and maybe the next quest next summer could be the old London - Monte Carlo or vice versa Monte Carlo into London.. lets wait and see...

Up date................... as its all about community and the love of the water.. Gill at Drivers Dry Berthing has agreed for us to head the welcoming at her yard... therefore if you want to join in whether on the water or land based we are going to start meeting at around 11.30am and watch the tracker to see how he is going but head for Calshot for 2pm... he thinks he will be in between 2 - 3pm at the latest.
all this is so exciting - if any of you have publicity mates call them and tell them to come down - more the merrier for such a wonderful cause!

Thundercat racing is a global community over 15 countries that races the UIM P750 class that has been going over 25 years. All manufactures can compete as long as their designed boats fit the rules. John was in an aquarius inflatable hull built in SA that has an amazing racing pedigree. Zap Cat is a one manufacture 'Gemini hull' commercial series based in UK although they are selling franchises abroad now.

Had the great pleasure of enjoying a couple of beers with aforementioned fruit cake last night, it was a shame I wasn't able to spend more time with him but circumstances did not allow. However one thing did come to light during last nights soiree, was that John is in fact one of the few who actually did the ENTIRE RB08 'in the boat'! This came to light through recanting the story of seeing him peering out from under the console cover of Jamie's SR9 whilst en route from Plymouth to Milford Haven by road.
Please everone, give what you can to this very worthwhile cause that is so close to John's heart. What he has undertaken is worthy of a few pounds however you look at it in my book!!
Well done John.
Moose.
