Lakes
Guys can anyone help me????
I am looking for any decent lakes in surrey - preferably near Walton on Thames where I can take the boat out and just open her up a little
No water ski-ing or anything like that....yet...
...I just wanna take the family out on the boat for fun, I don't want to go on the river just yet!
I don't mind travelling out a little, but don't really wanna go that far,
Thanks
Jay

Marc, what are the Coniston dates? and do you know whether 'non race' entries are being accepted.

Apparantly mike horn from barrow powerboat club is trying to get the mod vp class back on so with a bit of luck most people will get to run.

Think poweboats have been regulated off most of the lakes in surrey dont think there is anywhere of decent size unles you count private ponds (too small)

According to a guy on Boatfreaks.org who recently moved his Formula to Lake George, the speed limit is 60!

I will look at any water in the 200 mile range from London if that helps!
Needs to be fresh water.
Needs to be soon...
JF - Launch was excellent, recovery was an adventure in itself. I will give you the skinny later.
