Long time ago I had a pair on a 50' boat, repeatedly snapped rudders and had leaky seals, I ditched them in favour of Arnesons and never looked back.

Surface drives are efficient at about 40 knots.

Bellamy Surface Drives

Brian Pelham on Facebook has been racing a Revenger25sc very succesfully for a number of years with Bellamy surface drives. It's now up for sale by the way. Also Nick Wilkinson (from Penzance) on Facebook has also been racing the famous and legendary HTS powerboat successfuly and that is running Perkin Diesels through a pair Bellamy Drives.
