Lenco High Performance Trimtabs

Has anyone got any info on lenco high performance trimtabs, thinking of putting some on the p25? Dont know if they'll take the pounding of our seas?

I have just installed the 14'' x 21'' twin actuator set.

I have previously had both a set of bennett and volvo intercepter blades. I think the Lenco's are by far the best system of the three as they give instant response, are faster acting, have auto retract, indicators built into the switch and require no hydraulic pump making installation a breeze. (Also like the use of Deutsch plugs). They have strenghtening ribs welded down the length and as yet have not bent.

Until you get water in the motors! I've done quite a few Bennett conversions to year or so old Lenco's, always the same problem.

Scorpion used to fit Bennett, they now fit lenco out of the factory, as say failure of a little sensor inside Bennetts was frequent.

I have Lencos i fitted myself, they were standard tab, however I broke them, and their warranty team were great. They upgraded me to racing tabs (alot thicker AND twice the price ) and posted for free with no return or proof of purchase.

Lencos work well but as Tony sais they don't last long, especially on boats left in the water. The last set I changed (on a scorpion) the ram caps were a new design so lets hope they have been improved.
