Well it’s sure flexed in unsupported areas, Rather than a material failure it more of a design thing just needing a few more support structures. Some bits just need extending others adding, stronger lip around the hatch for sure. Surprised there isn’t more “beef around the hatch hinge points & the screens are fixed through with caps rather than an external strip sitting over the “polly” to spread fastener/screen load.
What is the screen thickness?
Material strength is so temperature dependant hence Aircraft screens are heated to improve the impact resistance. If it was me I’d copy what Boeing use for unheated screens (DV/side windows) mainly on the grounds I’ve bounced birds at 300 Knots off them in the past with no problems. Mind you ya still fekken duck when you see it coming
