Lockdown Project

Here’s a little lockdown project that we’ve acquired.

As most can see it’s an early P18. No doubt a wild a varied history judging by the amount of ‘spares’ and goodies bolted, screwed, grip-filled and generally lying in the boat and bilge!

There’s another name lurking under the current livery of Heavy Mob but we can’t quite make it out.

Posting here for sentimentality as it might be recognised as somebody’s old warhorse or possibly their parents or even their grandparents weapon of choice.

Not even had the owner of the seats get in touch yet.
Surely they must be missing them and the steel runners out of the Saxo or 106!

There's also a part of someone's shed behind the dash but I'm sure pressure treated softwood is a perfectly suitable material to strengthen the dash.

We have had a note from a previous owner on FB who enjoyed it and said it went well.

It'll be a fun little project and looking forward to getting stuck in and seeing what else is lurking beneath.

Nothing too drastic to start with. Just a check through and make sure it's safe to use. After that we'll decide how far to go with refurb.
