Marshan 19

Does anyone recognise this Marshan 19 with a Merc 200, which I picked up today from Kent?

Looks like it has spent some time in Spain.

At present the fuel tank is situated in the front of the boat and was wondering if it would be a good idea to relocate it to the back of the boat for better performance?

This 19 has the cut out under the transom is there anywhere on the boat where a serial number should be?

Cheers!

Do you know much about Marshan boats? I have a 19 ft Marshan with a 225 yamaha , can only reach 62 mph.... Just installed a Jack plate, have not tried it yet, but have tried many propellers and adjusting the height but Max speed is only 62 mph :/ any advice?

I have been told to setup mine up like this:-

Keep the engine / Jackplate in the centre, fuel tank at the rear, trim/ jack pumps either side on transom. Battery in front of foot plate, up front bow tank.

Mine has had a complete overhaul with new stringers, transom & floor and is presently upside down getting her bottom polished

i am sure someone with more experience will be along soon with better advice !
