merc 150 /200 xr2

me and warp havin to many beers ( shit i think its going to be a fight ) warp thinks the only diff on a 150 is the carbs ( huh ) compered to a 200 xr2 but all he keeps saying is how come they are the same 2.5 engine ????????????????????explain to warb ( i know he is new ( dick head) but some f**ker explain to him the dif cause im giving up )

right then an old XR2 maybe 150 hp (mutz nutz manual said 162hp) is built using a 2.4 block and sleeving it down to a 2ltr. the newer XR2 200hp is built using the later 2.5 block but again sleeving down to a 2ltr. JBD posted on another thread how to tell the difference between the blocks, i'll have a look for it
