All BP's run lumpy at idle, they're a good motor for what they are, sooner or later they all pop. Mine turned itself into a V4 last weekend.

They're old engines now, stopped making them in 1990.
Should push a P18 well, depends on the money, if the price is right then personally I'd go for it subject to a test run! But I have a thing for the 2.4 litres!

Then again I have four of them in boxes, you think I would have learnt by now!

Think it was up for 4k a few weeks ago, last week was down to offers under 2k and the seller was a boat sales place. Looks like the guy on Ebay bought it who happens to be another dealer, he can't get it running so trying to offload it on Ebay.

Would I buy it would I fook. I reckon it's a piece of junk, save your money and buy something that runs.
