Merc Racing 200 xs

Anybody able to give fuel burn rates at WOT for a 200 xs - perhaps someone racing in 3c done a bit of research? trying to work out fuel tank sizes for a project thx - stu

Thanks - Useful site, but I think they are a little down on the figures - my 250 HO Evinrude and my 150 Honda run more.
My 300 xs with a 27 inch prop on runs approx 125 l p/h
My Evinrude 250 HO with a 26 prop runs approx 107 l p/h
my honda 150 with a 23 prop runs approx 70 l p/h

I think we are probably looking running high 90's p/h with the 200xs but just seeing if anyone runs one racing and has real life figures

We did the 3 hour endurance race on Windermere once with an xr2 and once with a 260 efi both used 240 litres, the boat weight is 560 kg with no fuel, a 200 xs would use appx 2/3 for the same race.

as I have raced with both gen1 and gen2 xs on my batboat it used 1.25 litres per nautical mile and we would put 1.5litre per mile to be safe and that would give u the siting lap as well

Thanks - very useful so presume it's a 23 circa 68 knots - so per hour approx 85 litres p/h - better than I thought
