Mercruiser 2.8 Dtronic-problem

Hi All,

I got a 165hp 2001 mercruiser d-tronic that's playing up, It ran fine for half an hour and then went into limp mode and would not rev above 2500rpm and the ECP(?) light came on the dash, Its just been rebuilt so I think it must be a faulty sensor somewhere.

Are there any common faults that anyone knows of with these engines?

Regards

Grant
