Mercury 175 v6 (1979) Bleed hoses

Hi, I've bought a cheap boat which is a non runner, the previous owner stated he had removed the fuel pump and fitted an electric one, he has removed the bleed hoses to clean out the non return valves and in the process damaged some hoses and fitted most in the wrong places, he claims the boat ran but then spluttered and stopped, hence cheap sale, I have both cylmer and seloc manuals for this motor but neither has much info about these hoses exept saying they are BLEED hoses, The hoses seem to link the crank case to the carbs and also one to the airbox, Does any one have experience with these and if so please shed some light on my problem , I'm a mechanic by trade but have no experience with large multi cylinder two strokes, Cheers

Davey

bleed drawings

Davey,
I've 2 possibilities for bleed drawins but for engines after your generation.
Can send them in added file but safer top contact this guy for old engine, sure he can find the good drawings for a 1979 outboard engine:

hope this help.
