Miss Britain needs a home.

With the demise of the museum at Basildon, the record breaking diesel powered hydro Miss Britain, driven by Chris Kaye of Sabre engines to 125mph is looking for a home.
Does anyone have any ideas of anywhere that might like this as a display piece?

Quite urgent!

Beaulieu have got to be worth an ask? Probably get more exposure there in a month than she's had since she went to Basildon.

I was thinking earlier, shame charlie burnett doesn't fund a powerboat part for Beaulieu! would be good for the sport and he wouldn't exactly notice it financialy. the museum is next door to his new forest mansion and he's palls with the Montague's.

Dunno how contactable he is now. But a Powerboat area, or new building would be a perfect addtion to that museum, and it's well placed for it.

All sorts could go there. (Bluebird could be on site with the car, which is already there). mmn

Just thinking right outside the box for a moment, but could someone like that be talked into it with an additional bit of funding coming from roadshowing the collection at the likes of Harwich.

As far as I could see from Barrie's perspective the authorities were extremely pleased with the event given circumstances but have said they could have done without the Music festival (as could have Barrie not seeing the funding from them).
