That isn't correct.
The boat that became "Breathless" was a Planatec that delaminated and TP had converted. Where's pennpromo when you need him?

Breathless was a pleasure boat made from the first ABO that delaminated, the second ABO is the old Follett that OOD now has, Miss Embassy I think was sold abroard, there is another one about that last raced as Thunderbird, I heard it is still original and has the 1970's engines fitted

Last time I saw the boat was in 1986 in Guernsey after the powerboat week, we where thinking about purchasing it, I think the person who owned it was called Webster, cant remember why we did not proceed; it was either rotten or to expensive

was "Miss Guernsey" the sister to "Catapult" or were there other than cosmetic differences?

Telstar now belongs to Colin Mullen in Staines.
He displayed the boat at the cowes 40th anniversary event about 4 years ago.

Anyone have a image of the former Miss Embassy in Thunderbird version?
The boat then was sold to Intermarine shipyards in Italy in 1976.
I remember of it like starter boat in the Viareggio-Bastia-Viareggio in that year, then was repainted with blue in place of the original red colour.

Wow ! Love the photo ! This brings back memories ! I didn't think anyone out there would have followed the scene back then. Fantastic boat. Can't believe it made enough impact to have Matchbox make a copy !
