You know the strangest people! Was talking about you down at Drivers yesterday to a chum of yours. What's this all about you thinking of running in the RBR 2008 then?

wow there!

I'm not thinking of doing the 2008. I just said to Ace (Stewart) to whom you were talking; that it was a wonderfull idea and wish I could lay my hands on the boat & multiples of £1000's it'd take to do it.

Well Stewart (Ace) wants to do it in his boat which would be great so you have 20 months to save up for it. Of course that means no Xmas presents for the wife and kids but something has to go for a man to have his fun!!!

OOD and others keep banging on about lowering the minimum limit to 24ft because of various factors and other classes wanting to take part so we will have to discuss this is in a democratic way (heaven help us) next Thursday.

Mike, have you spoken with the lofty one yet (Johnny 'the rocket' Kennett)

He has a few valid & interesting points, and experience of such an event run with ribs.

I know he was gonna contact you.

I´m sure there´s another thread on here somewhere where it says that the boat was converted into the futuristic looking (at the time) Breathless. Mr Wood Power is the man if I recall rightly.
