morse steering cable assistance

I require some assistance ladies and gentlemen..... I hope you can help. I have recently become a part owner in a Dateline Bounty 17ft with an Essex 3 litre V6 jet drive. The boat is great fun however requires some work, I am struggling with replacing a steering cable. The existing cable I have been told is a morse cable, the cable has C 310 and a length of 4.25 meters stamped on the plastic outer housing. I have seen a Teleflex 33 c red jacket mid control cables at the desired length but do not know if it is compatible with the one I am try to replace the technical specification for the 33 c cable is standard rod 10=32UNF threaded ends for the 33c can anyone help ?????
