To save TD the trouble, Hondas are Extremes and the hull of those moulds above have very Bertram like lines that differ by 10%
There are some old threads on it if you have a search around dont really wanna drag it all back out

The 225hp honda boats are 27ft Cougars and I believe the early 130hp boats were 21ft extremes and the newer 150hp boats are built by cougar ...
Please feel free to correct me Tony

The first 8 or 9 boats (4 cylinder, 130 hp) were extremes'. the subsequent 4 cylinder boats were either 'extremes' built under licence by Cougar, or the later ones, re-jigged extreme hull, and Cougar deck. All the 4 cylinder boats (21 footers) were re-engined with 150hp motors when that option became available. Also, the original Extremes' had motors mounted on brackets, Cougar converted all the existing boats to have an engine well, and motors were mounted straight on the transom, as they were on all Cougar built Extremes'/hybrids of the 4 cylinder class.
The 25/27 footer, is a Cougar design, and only ever got the 6 cylinder engine (225hp)
See, easy

I would be interested to know how thse moulds have ended up in the states. I thought that all cougars were built in Warsash??
I am assuming that these are the moulds for the US-1 series. Were these moulds sold legitimately??
Either way awsome boats!!
Heres a 46 for sale

Cougar had a Factory on Thunderboat row (188th NE st) in North Miami for about 5 years in the 80's.

After we moved out of the 188st yard in 1985/86 AJ Roberts splashed and streched a US-1 46, he sold them as Boss/Cougars in sizes from 42' to 50'.
The original moulds for the 46, 38, and 33 we still have in storage. Just making a Rib out of the 38' hull
