I think it was originally owned by Art Stapley of Whitstable and ski raced pulling his son John. Powered by a well worked XR2 it was supposed to be an 80mph boat. I observed in it once at Holme Pierepoint in the All Regions race and spent all the straights standing in the back to look over the plume only to be pulled into the seat by Art for the turns! Many years later I saw it for sale in Newhaven, Sussex but still with an XR2.

I'd have to guess at 93, 94ish but have you checked for Mike's compliment slip glassed under the foredeck? By the way it was originally called "Blaze Neon" and didn't have the heavy bow rail.
