Sorry if this is in the wrong section, just thought I would introduce myself.....My name is Richard and currently own a Zippa speedboat, not met anyone else with one. For those not familiar with it I will attempt to attach a pic....think I have done it!
I am based on the S/East coast, launch out of West Mersea, near Colchester Essex.
I use the boat mainly for ....well just being on the water, would like to do more skiing with it this year but think I need to change prop first.
Regards.
Richard
P.S. I realise my little boat aint up there with what else I have seen on this forum....but it is fast in my eyes!

Hi Richard, welcome to Boatmad.
This is a great site for all boaters- even blow up ones!
Boats are about being used and enjoying yourself, yours may not be as big or fast as others on this site but I bet most would swap their running costs with you
All the best
Steve

Welcome to Boatmad!
I've always been amazed by those little boats, what kinda speed does she do? I bet in something that size it feels faster than most on here and is likely more fun too!
And yes, I'd definitely swap running costs!!
Cheers, James

Larby your running costs are £0, cos it hasn't run yet!
What size motor is on the Zippa? Looks like a right laugh!

The engine is a 50hp E-tec, as for top speed, not really sure as I dont have a speedo, but it keeps up with all the big jetskis.

Just joined, I have a Ring 21 Ranger with a 225 Honda. This is my 5th Season with the boat, before the Ring was a Phantom 20. I use the boat around the Chichester and Solent area with the annual trip to Lym Regis.

And always a little bit of banter... More out on the water and meeting up the better!
We are normally about in the Solent/iow/witterings area.
