How about NOVA POWERBOATS...

I know Wellcraft did one, but that was a model rather than a make of...so to speak...

Stingray powerboats
Ultimate powerboats
Boss " "
Atom " "

Just call it Dowdy Powerboats, nothing wrong with that sounds as good as any, its similar to Donzi. You want it simple and easy otherwise in danger of sounding too tacky.

Or you could have an anagrame of Dowdy and Donzi = Dowzi, Dowzy, Dozy. No maybe not Just Kidding.

I had the same problem trying to find a name for mine, if you type in just about any word followed by powerboats, there will be an american company building them!. I went off the masculine yankiefied names like superthunderpatrolmeister. I always liked trident powerboats that may fit your products? It also has a watery link!

I would pick a name that does not have a real meaning but is simple to pronounce, is rememberable, unique and lets your first class produced act as an alibi for and put value in it. My suggestion is a version of you kids names put together.

Joelice Powerboats

Borg Boats - Water resistance is futile

Crusty Boats - We give you the edge

Elver Powerboats - Slippery when wet

Obama Powerboats - They ain't half assed

Speculum Boats - Inspected from the inside out

Thatcher Drag Boats - They are not for turning

Shipman Powerboats - Kill the competition

Oar Boats - You can rely on an Oar

Spartacus Powerboats - Often imitated, never duplicated

Hootercraft - Reassuringly bouncy
