its possible ask hutchy, he got over 80 out of a bayliner with a race 2.5 efi fitted.

if a bayliner ever did 80mph i think the gelcoat would be stripped off the bottom of the hull

I emailed the guy asking how he worked out that it did 80+mph and he replyed
"there is a device on the dash which is common on most motor vehicles called a speedometer now this is calibrated in mph so when it reads 80 then that means youre going at that speed,maybe u should study basic motor machanics if you still havent caught on.ok"
