Aint 'cut n paste' great!
Wot that doesn't say is, it aint as good in compression, so when re-designing the structures to suit Aramat, you need get all the Aramat bits in tension, using sandwich construction etc. or It could end up weaker. And as it weighs about the same, any weight advantage is gained through being able to reduce lay-up because it's stronger, so you gotta suss out where to lose it.
It aint just a 'wonder stuff' that you chuck in and watch the boat 'float' away in the breeze.

Yeh go on sling it. The come back to me and get a new one!!!
Not being funny here, why do you want to ditch it? it is a modern day work of art that took a fair time to draw ( I expect).
As for whats Gavs plate made from, I think you may find that its the same material (although who knows I may be wrong - doubt it tho).
Bling is great my old china, your soon want your trailer done with alloys etc etc !!
