NJPPC Atlantic City Poker Run Photos:

Incredible 2 day event this weekend with the New Jersey Performance Powerboat Club in Atlantic City.
The photo album is up online for your viewing pleasure:

I want to thank Debbie Noone of Offshore-Performance located in Maryland and Dick Roeder for allowing me the plaesure of navigating their 45 foot Sonic this weekend. Wave size was certainly not an issue for this boat this weekend!

Very cool!

I assume Jack Baker did some healthy business over the weekend.

Paint that bow blue and it seems strangely reminiscent of one of our typically brilliant starts.

Yes John.

He is a real big supporter of our events....

He even stepped up to the plate when we needed some help fighting off the sail boat community a while back. Even though that is most of his year round customers.
Those people actually threatened to boycot his establishment if he was to speak at the Regulation Commission meeting.
It never happened. We all were able to work things out peacefully. We convinced not all but most of the sailors what we are all about and many became more friendly and saw that a few of their members had their own agendas.
We are as courteous as can be with these people because they are well organized and politically connected.
But our club had the honesty and strength and integrity to hold them off when it came to fighting noise and speed limits...

It put a whole new meaning in POWER-boaters!

Actually let me clarify, it wasn't Jack Baker himself, but the owner of the establishment....
