Oil Recommendations Please...!!

Recamendations for Gear & engine oil for my Honda 225, Honda way too expensive, loads on e-bay at much lower cost, Quicksilver look like competitive pricing.

Thanks in advance for recommendations & suppliers too.

You have a lot of choice.

The recommended viscosity is 10w-30, but you can also use a 10w-40 to give you more choice. Ideally meeting either API SG, SH, SJ or SL but do not use anything newer than that (API SM and SN) as the anti wear levels are greatly reduced. You can use an automotive engine oil to give you yet more choice again.

For the gearbox an SAE90, many like to use one that meets GL4 but GL5 or GL4/5 can also be used.

Yep, that would be just fine. That is Castrol's premium synthetic offering so you cannot go wrong with it really.
