OPA Camden Race $26000 Purse!!!

Welcome to the 2005 AMF Offshore
- Dash for Cash -
Hosted by Camden, NJ

Hello Race Fans,

There aren’t many new things on the Offshore Racing scene these days so when something or someone completely out of the ordinary pops up, ya just have to stand up and take notice.

The OPA race in Camden NJ is scheduled for October 8th and 9th, and until yesterday, it had no purse and was in jeopardy of possible cancellation. Enter John Haggin and AMF Offshore Racing. This is John’s first year on the offshore circuit and he has already made a lasting impression on all the racers, especially the Performance Class racers. Haggin (as he prefers to be called) has taken it upon himself to become the champion of the P Class racers, the little guys that needs some help from time to time just getting to the next race. Haggin and OPA have really shown their generosity this time and all they ask for in return is that you join them in Camden, have some fun and enjoy a great race.

So here’s the deal:

NO REGISTRATION FEES
NO EQUIPMENT FEES
NO ENTRY FEES
A $26,000 PURSE
1st Place - $2500
2nd Place - $1250
3rd Place - $750
4th Place - $500
5th Place - $200
TROPHIES LIKE YOU’VE NEVER SEEN BEFORE – JERSEY BOYZ STYLE

To attend the race, just get to the intersection of Martin Luther King Blvd and Jersey Joe Walcott Blvd and then park in the Battleship NJ Parking lot. The Wiggins Park Marina is at the entrance to the Battleship New Jersey. Everything is very conveniently located at this race site.

If you are coming from out of town, we recommend staying at either:

A public address system will keep spectators informed and entertained. The online radio station can be found at www.talkoffshore.com.

At 12:45 the Performance Class 5 and 4 boats will leave Wiggins Marina and head south to the south end of the racecourse where they will await a flying start at 1pm.
