I thought the boat was a later P25 (as in one of the last) had a resprayed deck & crawl in cuddy fitted.
The Promax was on a P20, bought from Picton, maybe was ONLY 150 odd Hrs. But still thought it was a late 90's non-X.
was the previous owner Richard?

So you know Richard then .............
By the way his 21 came from Trio in Southampton and was rigged by Nick Barsch.

pro max 300 x 2003 . I bought from phantom sold to richard. then bought back from insurance company .she was built for a single 300 xp evinrude and never 2x mercury motors i,ve had her back to bare bones tank out etc.... and now she,s running better with 1 motor than she did with 2 motors. She's very light and balance was always a problem with 2 motors. As richard found out.

yes looks like it. but it didnt get finished for some reason and richard mounted jack plates, motors, all inst, etc... himself. when it was finished the rubbing strip was about an inch of the water when at rest. Well thats what he said!! is the a neils workshop about 2 or 3 years ago. Richard only ever tried her on the water a few times and because of handeling problems tried to sell her for around $ 175,000 but no buyers!!

Yeah, I remember a load of aggro about motor centres, and it not fitting in the standard engine well with the alien cowels, so needing 'stand off'. Steve wasn't amused and I'm sure the handling was only one reason, the bouyancy, or lack of, with the motors on stalks was probably another.
That's the workshop of Phantom Boats in Sittingbourne, as you say, about 4 years ago now. Neil stored it there for quite a while, I think progress was slow.
