On a positive note it may be that the very existance of boatmad has spured on more people to race over the last few years, it has given a focas for all involved to dig in and have there say, throw around new ideas and new classes and save some old great boats, so I guess with all the good some bad sh...t must follow, therefore perhaps it's all par for the course as they say and it's just one more problem to be discussed and ironed out with the help of all who can

I hope it continues there are very few up to date web options in the UK, Boatmad is topical & up to date. In the heat of the moment it is easy to post something that can be misread as well as a baiting type post. It's all part of life. What was the quote "It's not personal it's business" no need for those you can say pretty much what you want without going to the shallow end of the gene pool.

Jon I am sure this site is able to log IP Addresses so can you find out who it is that way then do away with them.
Also closing the racing sections down will only move the problem onto other parts of the board.

Right, the easiest thing to do is, leave the sections as they are, and ANY post taking a snipe at another racer, purely for sniping's sake, will be removed imediately. (however, I reserve the right to snipe at Cookee )

This obviously won't effect regular discussion.

Hopefully there won't actually be any need to do this, as everybody now knows the plot.

If I find that I'm having to contiually edit stuff, theracing section goes, and they can findsomewhere else to winge.

Being the nob that I am may I point out the section that this thread is in (not muster area).
On a personal note I do enjoy the active banta but a slang when it starts does detract.
So hows Pete doing ? well on the mend I hope

Why not expell the disruptive s***ts from Boatmad, if you check out who is involved in most of the slagging i think you will find one name keeps cropping up so why not start with him.

I like a bit of good humoured banter, If you stood a chance of getting banned from Boatmad it might make them think twice about posting what is basically crap anyway.
Keep up the good work Jon most of us is with you.

Previously, to get banned was simple! buy a 'splash', and come here suggesting it's superior the genuine artical (with particular reference to Phantom boats)

Now, a new banning category has been added. Being a 'racing arse'.

(being an 'ex' racer, I'm obviously exempt )
