I'm not sure i know anyone who has ever made a profit from a boat!
what do you want me to say about Apache??
I'm sure the following will help sell it

i hooked it twice, once ripping the floor out that Gav then repaired
had the nose re gelled as was badly faded where it had sat in the sun, again by Gav
put a hole in the bottom, repaired by Gav
split the fuel tank
seats repaired by Gav after i ripped the bottoms out
broke trim tabs 3 times
flow coat on floor doesnt match from when i ripped the floor out
its a 1987 not 88
hammered for years in ski racing

But....... i'd still buy it back tomorrow!!

not for that price though

edit.. I do know someone who made a profit from a P20. (not me thats for sure)

wow you learn a lot from a thread, you cant drive a boat, or wire one by all acounts as driver 510 said to me, the wiring you done on apache ,was apauling, and all over the place, and suprised it didnt catch light, it had to be ripped out and re done ,this will proberbly help you with your work seeing as your an electrical engineer ????

Yep, guess that quite true as if you looked at the apache rebuild thread the wiring was fine and defo not "alll over the place". I assume that you are well aware the boat has been sold 3 or 4 times (I think) since Burty owned it and when he sold it I think I am right in saying he split it, hull trailer and engine???? With that in mind how can you be sure anything you have picked up has been done by Burty?
I would suggest before posting you do some research and get your facts right.

All IMVHO.

Have a nice day.

p20

im not going to keep hitting the ball back over the net, or justifying myself on this thread, the deal was between me and lloyde, it was a smooth deal that was no one elses buisness but ours, the thread was started by the witches of eastwick, ( bitches of eastney) ,that were stiring round their couldrons one wet sunday, when waves were to big for them to go out, and a few other muppets joined in, thats the last im saying on the matter.

I belive all that rob said was true... Think your just clutching at straws there an as dan said, the boat has been sold several times, look at his new boat, an I think you'll agree any work rob does is nothing short or fantasic an extremely comprehensive... Sure he'll have no problem with his work. Crazy how you'll attack someone who's telling the truth about their old boat. Surely as a genuinely honest seller you'd want the prospective buyer to know the history of the boat... Or indeed as the current owner. Rob did split the boat, an sold just the hull, I had the trailer, an belive the motor went back to the states. Said chap drove for me on Thursday, an one thing I can guarantee you is he can drive... Maybe just not afraid to repair his boat after a good days hammering!

Nope you are probably correct but then i'm sure even the top racers have hooked a boat many times! Judging by your avitar you don't appear to be allowed to drive one

Thats why there was always a fire extinguisher in the boat dude However I'm not sure which bit you are referring to as I sold it 4 years ago as just a hull with the engine loom etc removed but if there was a problem then I'm sure Lloyde / Driver510 would have sorted it before you purchased it.
