Let me guess.... Bought through this site - contact made by buyer, "give me first refusal, always loved the boat and always wanted to own it" etc etc only to be readvertised outside of this community for a tasty markup.

Don't think this is the first either

Nothing wrong with trading of course.... Assuming you are honest and up front about it.

Shame as I am sure there may have been a few members who would have been keen to have bought and used this boat for 6k rather than just trying to trade it on...

As per this thread above,
I thought at the time about 6k was about right when I sold it as its a boat a lot of members seemed to like at the time and even though its a 1988 its still in lovely condition.

just to clear up a few things about apache, first off there was no advert it wasnt advertised for sale, lloyde called me about the sale, and wanted to sell it to fund his new boat, secondly i gave him the full asking price and didnt knock him down one penny, weather i use it , sell it ,or smash it into a wall its no one elses buisness, so you think your smart calling me a **** on this forum, i launch opposite the marina you launch from, at hayling, when you see my boat heading your way, you wont be suprised see you soon ps i dont know why richard, driver 510, felt it nessascary to bring it up, other than stir things up, jealous perhaps

first off your 25 is full of filler and pud, then resprayed peppermint green, because you bought 100 litres of it 10 years ago and sprayed all your last boats in it, and still had some left, secondly you couldnt afford it, thats why you are selling all your props, mids, guages, and engine parts off, to buy 300 merc, off lloyde, like i said jealous as arseholes

Now whose the jealous 1, that was totally different paint which was specially made, and your the expert in paint suddenly, i specially used that colour as it would be unique and not the"same old p25". Just so you know i am a marine engineer and clearin my workshop for space(not that its any of your business). I own 2 phantom 20's which will be up for sale soon alot cheaper than yours. So for your quote "you cant afford it" somehow i think i can. (Everyone can see what work i done to that boat and others on my website) The only reason i posted this is because i carried out a lot of work on that boat!

It's like 'Dodgy Dan' all over again, without the shite engines.

I agree there's nothing actually wrong with selling things on, he can do what he likes with it, but I also know how it feels to see that someone bought your pride and joy just to flog it for profit.

It hasn't actually sold for a profit yet (or even for what he paid for it)

When all is said and done, something is only worth what someone else will pay for it, I could advertise my boat all day long for £2k more than I paid for it, it might sell if I sat on it for long enough, but most likely it won't.
