Phantom 20 (Red Devil) Paint refurb/spray

Hello chaps,

I have recently purchased a Phantom 20 that some of you may know as Red Devil.

From a distance it still looks good and very retro but up close it is not so pretty. The paint has bubbled and popped.

The sides of the boat and top do not have a gel coat - so I think its a case of stripping it back to basics and re applying new paint/colours.

In terms of a colour scheme - I want to keep the 'Red Devil' theme as I believe in giving the past a cheeky little nod.

Please see the photos below - I have included a snap of a mates old P21 and thats pretty much the look I'm after.

Please let me know your thoughts and advise on how I can go about this. I'm open to paying someone who can finish it off to a high standard.

Cheers,

Craig.

Hi, I bought a p18, and pardon the pun, in pretty much the same boat. It's 'The Phantom', with a 175hp Evinrude hanging off the back. I took it for a run out yesterday down Langston Harbour, Hayling Island. It perform faultlessly I am glad to say. But it's hand painted in red.. So a new battery £70 pounds, 3/4's of a tank of petrol, £80 quid. Still got quarter of a tank left. .

Us after testing yesterday, with her back on the trailer. A big thanks to the lads that pushed my car up the slip way yesterday as the Vauxhall Vectra started wheel spinning its way backwards into the harbour. Whilst trying to drag the boat and trailer out of the drink. Lol
