The transomes absolutely solid, the boat hasn't had much use up to about 2008 time when it did round Britain, and 2009 Cowes- Torquay race.

what is the best method without a massive opening of the transom Inside to check the transom wood and fiber? Only a 4mm drill is enough to check the moisture presence or do you have something else better for this inspection?

So you're part of people who thinks water, moisture introduce Inside a transom only by bolts holes?
But a lot of boats built in UK in the 80/90's use caulking between the top of the transom and the splash well, then hidden by an aluminum angle bar, most of the time rivetted directly in the fiber..., after years this process is not so ''watertight'' and may be the only way is removing the top caulking to check the wood?!
When you rebuilt this kind of built process do you make another way to bring up more efficient or do you maintain the former construction process (for the top of transom)???

More progress...
All cutting and grinding done, new bulkhead glassed in, holes in transom filled and gel coated, still needs sanding back, wax on dash and gel coated but still some more to do. Built L/H Sportsmaster gearbox today and removed paint. R/H Gearbox to be built next week. Getting close to rigging and carpeting time now. Thanks to lloyde for matching gelcoat pigment, Paul Hastings for fiberglass mat and foam, and Tony for supplying seat shells.

Side trims

Side trims partly done, just need to cover the white insert and fit the carbon fibre piping, they're going to look great . Thanks to my son designing the whole interior, so if it's crap it's down to him lol.

Hey there Bully Boy! ...... Poor Lad!

I'm sure the interior will look great!

I hope you've included the engine start buttons ..... like Curt suggested for the 25.

Has he considered going into interior design?????

Progress...

Haven't posted in a while, been busy re-gelling the transom, lined cabin with foam and now carpeted, all fiber glassing is now done by raising the seat pods, new bulkhead, and new tunnels to house shifter controls, drink holders, and speakers. Hand rails back on foredeck, also had some 'dummy' skin fittings made as there was no use for them and a pipe going straight across the bow doing nothing. Posts will be more frequent now most of the boring bit is done!

Few more bits done, re-furbed hatch with carbon fiber leatherette surround, most of the cabin lining done almost ready to fit lights, fitted bulkhead trim with carbon fiber leatherette. Side trims are now finished and ready to fit when all carpeting is done.
