(possibly the last) He apparently had a customer with him, Steve commented that the fella (Jans customer) seemed 'well heeled' and thought he may be more than just a customer, maybe even involved in Jans business, but wasn't sure.

The tooling and rights for the 21 & 23 were offered for the same sum that Trio/Crompton later paid. Korteland declined the offer, and it would appear, chose the splashing route instead.

So in conclusion, it appears that time has blured the memory, and the story of a failed crusade to recover the holly grail(s) from an empty Sittingbourne factory isn't quite accurate.

Only one set of P16 moulds, and one set of P18 moulds existed at the factory.

They now both belong to Clive Jones who trades as PhantomUK

Therefore, any other moulds that exist, didn't come from the factory.

It would seem very unlikely that the person selling the "Job Lot" would overlook the fact that they were selling genuine Phantom moulds as this information would surely help the achieved sale price considerably.

Ill let you into an old secret here, "you get ought for nowt".

Now im not teaching you to suck eggs here but in all my years of International trading in all kinds of goods, i have never once obtained more than i had paid for! And yet i still manage to make a living.
