P20

Rob Yes it is a P20
I viewed it about two years ago when it was for sale.
It's running an XR2 SS.
Does need some TLC but all there.

Located in Burnham on Sea.

so it is a genuine 600 then?
I don't want it but was just having a look through boats and outboards as was bored at work.

What were the handling issues that the "600" has that the newer P20 doesnt?

Not good in turns. didn't want to lean into the turn in the normal (regular vee bottom) way, wanted to 'high side'. was quicker than the replacement P20 in a straight line though.

Young Neil Holmes would be able to give some detailed info, as he was helping Steve with the testing of it, but basically, the inner spray rail design was causing it, too long aft I think, and after lots of changes & testing, Steve developed his 'Phantom Pad' arangement that kept most of the original 600s speed, but got the handling back into check.

That 'pad' design then got used on the re-vamped 21 hull, and subsequent P23/Evo.
It's now also going into the P31.

Is the P31 still intended if it can be done successfully to become a P33 with the added stepped extension
