LOL small world, I bought that ring, Now I have it in plymouth of course I had to upgrade the motor a little to a 250 :P it did not come with the 150 so I had to upgrade anyway. Long way to drive too.

I think we should have a poll on this forum, ring or phantom. I have a small feeling as there are more phantom owners on this site that it might win but hey gonna give it a shot :P

I was only winding you up Rockey, they could have towed it on holiday, or bought it from Spain. Are all 21's fitted with 'set back' or a bracket like that one?

I was wondering about that engine mount too. I bet that costs it some in terms of manoeuverability. Probably better straight line stability though. Nice looking boat still.

In my opinion if I was buying 21 ft boat I'd go for a phantom quick stable and put a 2.5 merc on it, and a 20 I would find a good ring because these handle rough water well and power it with somthing like an xr2 200

Rockey, just reading your profile, is your boat a Ringcat 22, or is an extreme 22 a completly different feline?
