I presume the sportsboat is a spectator getting a bit too close.

If my memory serves me correct it was one of the demonstrators.

OCRDA were asked to put on a demonstration on the Thames at Greenwich.

but to be serious they were like early memory sticks but they only held one picture and the interface was very fiddly
