Phantoms racing

Moving house last week came across some old V.H.S. vids,one showing close up (10ft away)camera action right on the turn buoy,16s,18s,19s,20s, and 21s, all mixing it up,anyone interested in watching it,shows the disco then the ski racing the following day,1987 vintage,scotlandVwalesVireland celtic challenge,over 30 boats involved,YOU might be on it!!

Was gonna transfer it on to cd and load onto here,loads of lads on from Penarth,N.E.watersports,Scotland,Wallasey and Deeside clubs.Anyone remember THORNBIRDS? And the twin rigger LOTTA BOTTLE? I have a dvd from dunoon when ocr and northern series went together. my dad had his R21 so i am guessing circa 1992. bob you had the air entrapment then. it also has a r26 with thin suzukis. i think it may have been a patrol boat.

I remember it well !! I think the Ring was Tristan Prentice and he did the Ski Race with it "Tartan Power"

No that was about 95. i would have to check as i have that on dvd too. I believe. This race i had was when the basic series still had a big following.

I remember watching Nick drive ocr in Guernsey, what a driver, I trailored Samsung in the boat parade through town in an open wrangler, all the class 1 boys had filled their bilges with water and was firing it out through 4 inch hoses, great days
