phatom's, ring's in plymouth.........who's?

was out on the water all weekend on the yellow water taxi, was wondering whos who on the water, anyone from around plymouth?? I saw a Marsham, a ring and a cool looking 18ft phantom (think it was a phantom from the distance) with the Union jack spray job draped across it, oh and another phantom. Who can claim these vehicles? Who launched there boats this weekend?? Are they on this forum??

Hi Divertom,
I was out tonight (monday) first time this year in a p21 called hotshot (blue & white), went right past the ferry!
As for the union jack, thats a bernico and is owned by Bob who is a member on here, he was out monday am as I could hear him screaming around the sound from jennycliff!
Did you get out at all, the water was pretty good tonight, still a bit chilly tho!

it did sound good, not as loud though as bernico's. his did make some noise. Man I am getting jealous of everyone going out on there boats, mines seconds away from being ready. Being on the ferry just does not do it for me.

Well u can say thats a standard yamaha 130 ski engine on that Bernico18 with the union jack paint job ,the noise comes out from two 32mil holes that have been drilled have way down the centre of the engine leg 0ne on each side with a piece of stainless steel pipe that sticks out of each side to make it look better. The boat aint any faster its just to make it sound sexier ,compared to the 2 ltr engines used in OCR boats before ,this ones sounded yuk before the holes were done especially when wearing the helmets on.

It sounds much better as u allready heard,on the yami we dont really get the gear box off cause we know whats behind the leg but if u aint sure remove gear box before drilling,we did remove gear box from my tohatsu being the first tohatsu being done, and thanks god we did cause part of the exhaust was behind it ,so we drilled just benieth it.Stainless pipes were just sigaflexed on.
