Prop help/advise needed!

Hi guys need some help on prop choice to my new rig!

The boat is a Dateline Bikini 16 foot 1990 model, got a brochure from Bogi Baldursson from th 80's that said it weight 281kg. I Also got a Powrtran jackplate mounted, 5 inch setback and weighs 25kg.

Engine: Mercury 2006 mod, 90hp, 3 syl, 2 stroke.

I will mainly use the boat with 2-4 people onboard and some wakeboarding etc., but I also want speed! I don not need the most insane acceleration, but would like to get into plane with 4 people onboard and some luguage
I guess what Im lookin for is a good allround prop and it has to be a solid one because i want to lift the engine up when Im drivin for full throttle
Props I been advised before is Trophy (plus?) and Turbo. Have not tried anyone of them though because the egine is not bought yet!

Another thought is that I will change prop to the standard prop when the boat is heavly loaded or wakeboarding and when the boat is lighty loaded and I want to go fast I change to a high performance prop, been recommended a Chopper 22!?! Do many of you change props for different use of the boat/rig?

I hope someone bothers to read all this and give me some advise Any thoughts and suggestions welcome

Cheers

Here is the boat in question btw:

i would think a chopper 22 would make that boat a handfull! a chopper will snatch the boat violently to port when re entering the water after air. I would recomend something like a 19" Laser for good all round performance. Try to borrow a few props and see how you go

Right about the Chopper !! Laser 19" will be large hub so wont fit !! Look for an 18 Or you may swing a 20 . Try ebay.

Yeah I looked at that one too! Is stands between that one, Quicksilver Laser 2 20p or Raker 20p! Heard much about the Raker and think that it would be a good prop, but does anyone know if it is possible to fit it on a Merc?

LAlso 1up, could you say anything about why you would recommend that prop and why a 4blader?

Thanks a lot for your answers and thoughts, very apreciated!

well as far as i have been led to believe the holeshot is good with a four blade prop, so whith a boat full of people i would have thought this would be ideal. Im looking for a 21 version to try on mine. The trophys use the hub adaptors so will fit most engines. The laser are merc props so provided it is not v6 large hub should go on yours. Not sure about the raker, i think this an omc prop so unless it has been rebushed it wont fit, I guees you could always get it changed if you felt it was the prop you wanted.

Thanks for your answer 1up and please let me know when you have tried the Trophy plus, I would very much like to hear your experiences with it

Cheers
