Question for 'Too Old'

I'm thinking of buying an old Chris Craft 311 Scorpion when I return to the States next year (will be in Virginia, we'll almost be neighbours).

What do you think about this boat?

I've always liked the classic lines of the Scorpions. Just make sure you have the hull inspected for moisture.

The quality of Chris Craft has varied wildly over the years as the company was bought and sold. Sometimes the company tended to re controlled bt the accountants rather than the builders.

If it's a sound hull, I wouldn't hesitate.

The boat's on Long Island and I'll be there in January. If all goes according to plan, I should own it by the time I get back to England.

Sorry, missed this one. In Bolney. Will be in the States Jan 6th - 14th which means I can't work the boat show. Not too upset about that though.
