Let's be honest, the government were always going to appear to try to endorse an extension to curry favour, while in reality working behind the scenes to ensure we don't so they get the tax! Pretty much normal politics.

I firmly believe anybody who would choose to become a politician should automatically be excluded from becoming one.

It may do at the moment, but looks like you'll be paying pump prices, and having to claim back the duty for commercial use.

That I can do...

Also my house heating is Diesel... Because we live in the middle of nowhere we are oil fired, and there were varoius fuel options... Guess which fuel option I chose!! And we run the heating all day on high, so we have a high usage... Very uneconomical, heating the house on diesel, use hundreds of liters a month!!!

Here in Germany the diesel for house heating is red. The only diesel allowed to use in cars or boats is any diesdel but not the red one. I think your goverment will do it the same they do not want to loose tax income.
Sorry for you guys.

They can't lose something they've never had. This is all about gain.

Greedy wankers.
