Hi paul
thought i would put this on a different thread so not to garm up lewis,s thread, my dads name was Fred Pyne, we use to meet up with a few guys with boats down the thames most sundays, went out in your dads boat charger a few times, on one occasion we was in it, flying down the thames towards tower bridge, we was just going under one of the bridges maybe wandsworth, when some idiot kid through something off the bridge, maybe a small stone, coin, piece of gum or something, and it hit your mum or your dads partner, i remember her screaming in pain, and your dad turning back towards the bridge to chase the feckers, but obviously they ran off, i wonder if youve heard that story, another time we was out it pissed with rain so when we got boats out we sat in your dads camper and had coffee/ tea etc, i was only about 15 at the time so some years ago but i think it was a brown transit camper maybe a mk 1 transit. some years on i went on a paintball skirmish with the sutton athletic football club, when the coach came to pick us up guess who was on it ,yep yer dad, small world aye, sadly i lost my dad a few years ago, is your dad still about, still boating ?, I remember my dad buying lots of boats, engines etc off of jim at a.c.h or h.a.c marine at south wimbledon, think i remember jim saying your dad bought charger new through him could be wrong, Reece
