Bugger! I'm wasting my time messing around with a 200, aren't I? I should have just bought the 150 and saved myself a whole lot of aggro!
Can a 23 pitch prop pull 90, out of interest? (I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and assume he means MPH rather than knots!)
If it can, what sort of revs would it be turning??

Where do you get one of those "self filling" ballast tanks? I've gotta get one of those!

You leave the tonneau cover off in a thunderstorm and keep the hull drain plug in.
If you fill it up with Chlorine it'll even keep your feet clean and free of verrucas.

Saw it advertised and contacted the guy who owns it.
He sent me the following pictures saying he was looking for around £6000.
Anyone know the boat ? looks a bit of a 'dog' to me !

i have done some work on this when the last person owned it! it is a very old ring 21 screw on screen, very heavy layup!!! the engine is a mariner just sprayed black i fitted the cowl and nose cone on the g/box the top speed is about 45 to 55 mph god willing! it was all in good condition when i saw it last. i beleive the new owner has had a few problems with it!!
i hope this helps anyone. the last owner sold the boat to this guy for £3k.

Should do an easy 90+. My Old Ring 20 cruised at an easy 105 and topped out at 120 with a 200.
We have seen 203 mph on Mr. Noisy but we slowed down cause it says on the dashboard "Caution - Do not exceed 200 mph."

Fast Ring
Neil, if that wonder boat could do 90, how fast shall we claim for my special red 20 Ring that Mike made light. You created the injected XR2 with the other specials including the boxes of ECUs we tried till the magic one worked.
Happy days 1995 i think.
The older i get the faster i was!!!!

I can confirm that Bazza's Ring with Neil's special XR2 hit at least 125 MPH, well it did when I towed it back from the South of France after the Europeans.
